Q: I want some type of program that i can edit pictures on. Like... do that thing where the whole thing is black and white except like.. eyes or something. Or add words or borders and make it all fancy. Obviously I need it to be free. Also I only have windows 2000. Something like photoshop i guess. But I don't know how to get it or if I NEEEED XP for it. Is there anyway I can get photoshop for free? LIke could someone send it to me or something?
A: Yes, there is "a way" to get photoshop for free, however that stuff isn't allowed here on Yahoo answers (and besides it's illegal). A program I could recommend is The Gimp: http://www.gimp.org/ . I don't believe you need Windows XP for it. I use The Gimp both at school and at home, and I find it very good. It's very similar to Photoshop in terms of functionality, but of course since this is free it's better for its value. If none of the answers here can help you enough, consider posting in the software section. The guys over there should be able to help you better than I can.
