Q: can someone please try and explain how it actually works? ive added it to my profile but noone can see it. th.e normal wall is still there and people can still read posts from my normal wall
A: "Now nobody can see your Private Wall. Just send and receive messages, photos through Private Wall without changing your privacy level!" Just as with any other application of Facebook, you can only use it between friends that also have that application. An easy way to see if someone else has it, is to visit their home page: http://www.new.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=20221093560&b=&ref=pd_r_a and scroll down to see if you have the section "friends who have added this application". If so, you can see who added it. If not, you won't see anything. From what I can gather, the private wall is for sending 1 on 1 messages with your friends. So, you have to open the application, and send a message through the application to a friend that also has the app installed, and they will receive it on their "private" wall, which no one else can see but them. It's actually quite similar to sending someone a message, rather than a wall post. Your normal wall will still be there, and people can still read posts from your normal wall, yes. Because these 2 applications (Wall & Private Wall) are completely different. I hope that clears up your question, if you need to know anything else, please let me know.
